Welcome Veterans and Families!

It's hard to believe that it's already January 2026! It seems like just a few weeks ago that we opened the Clay Veterans Center in April! We have assisted 131 veterans or family members since opening! Many have asked what's the difference between what the Center can do versus organizations that are already serving? “What We Do for Veterans” Clay Veterans, Inc. and the Veterans Council Clay County are 100% volunteer-led nonprofits working together to improve the welfare of veterans and their families across Clay County. Through the Clay Veterans Center in Middleburg, we provide programs that build connection, community, and access — helping veterans and families stay informed, engaged, and supported. Our ongoing programs include: •Coffee Break: monthly peer gatherings for camaraderie and connection •VetTech: one-on-one assistance with navigating VA.gov, digital tools, and benefits access •Open Door Program: caregiver respite and veteran social engagement •Community Partnerships: linking veterans to trusted local, state, and national resources We don’t provide emergency financial assistance directly — but we work closely with many organizations that do, helping ensure every veteran finds the right path to the support they need. Every fundraising event, including the Veterans Day 5K, helps keep the Center’s programs running year-round and strengthens the local network that serves over 27,000 veterans in Clay County. We’d love to have your support! As an all-volunteer nonprofit, we’re always looking for folks who care about our veterans — whether by volunteering or sponsoring programs at the Clay Veterans Center.
