Welcome Clay Veterans and Family members!

Thank you for your interest.  The leadership of the Clay Veterans and the Veterans Council have been working diligently to improve the welfare of Veterans and their Family members.

Our Clay Veterans Center Open House Event on June 21st was a huge success with over 18 vendors and six sponsors, we were able to raise just shy of $2,000 for Veteran Center Operations.  With the American Anthem sung by Ella Heck (age 9), remarks from both the Veterans Council by President John Ruark and Clay Veterans President Jessica Polvikoski, and closing with key note speaker the event was joyful and swift.

County Commissioner Jim Renninger, a veteran and former U.S. Navy pilot, gave the keynote address. “Now this isn't just the opening of a building, it's the opening of a promise—a promise to the men and women who wore the uniform and served with honor, courage and distinction, and who now deserve our unwavering support,” he said. “With four major military bases and several major military installations in the region, there are over 27,000 veterans who make Clay County their home.”

We need volunteers, representatives, and donations to be successful.  Please let us know if your are interested in supporting our mission to improve the welfare of Clay County Veterans and their Family members.
